I had the great fortune recently to be interviewed for CanvasRebel, an online magazine website that provides opportunities for small business owners, artists, and creatives to share their stories and insights. I would love if you could share this story with your family and friends. Thank you ❤️ You can read the full interview including photos here at https://canvasrebel.com/meet-clare-gray/
Clare, appreciate you joining us today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers.
I think for some people, the craziest thing to do in business is to follow the “signs” – however off the wall they seem – but for me, they were signs that put me on the right path to first healing my own body, and with that transformation, knowing on a deep level that anything and everything can be transformed, thus helping my clients create change and transform their lives.
I am lucky enough to be married to an amazing man, who happens to be very tuned in, and intuitive. He feels the presence of energy around him and understands how this energy works. One morning he woke up and told me that he had seen a vision of bluebirds, and they were saying – “Follow the path”.
For the next five days, both of us kept seeing references to bluebirds – either in the form of a sign on the back of a school bus, a Jay on our patio – the opening line in a podcast “Hello all you bluebirds” and so on. By that time, we knew that these multiple synchronicities were showing us something – all we had to do was find out what it was.
By the end of the week, we were given the final piece of the puzzle. We were watching an online tutorial by Gregg Braden and Dr. Bruce Lipton, who happened to mention an amazing modality for changing limiting beliefs, called PSYCH-K.
I had heard of this before but never looked deeper into what it could do – so what with all the signs we had received up until that point, I felt it was prudent of me to delve a little deeper. I logged onto the website, and low and behold, the logo was a bluebird.
Finally, I understood all the synchronicities that had been happening and signed up for the training, so I could add it to my offering – and to be honest, I have never looked back.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As for many energy healers, I got into this business because I was always searching for something that would heal my body. My childhood was plagued with health issues, and the aftermath of a traumatic event when I was 7 years old, left me allergic to all animals. Being an animal lover, this was devastating for me. My beloved Siamese cat, Sammy, had to find a new home, and for the rest of my life, I had to be vigilant about where I went – needing to know which friends had animals, as even one animal hair in a room would trigger an asthma attack.
I think I have tried everything to find a cure. Even when I was told that there was nothing that could be done, I still held onto the belief that the key to this issue was out there somewhere – I just needed to find it.
The key was finally revealed to me while I was studying PSYCH-K – and was so simple and easy, I was amazed that it had stayed hidden for so long. During one of the workshops, I “felt” an amazing sense of gratitude for what I was learning – the setting in which the training was taking place, and for the beautiful people who were joining me that week. In that moment, I felt truly blessed for what I was experiencing. Then, as that feeling of gratitude was percolating through my being, I realized (like a very bright light-bulb moment) that if it wasn’t for my health issues and allergies, I wouldn’t be where I am at that moment.
The key was so simple, yet in some respects somewhat radical, what I had to do to transform my health was to forgive it – to feel gratitude for what it had given me, and ultimately love it – because it had actually given me one of the greatest gifts of my life.
You see the gift had been to learn about energy healing – and ultimately PSYCH-K. I would never have been on this journey if it wasn’t for my desire to heal myself – and in doing so, I am able to help others.
Following this revelation, I created a new belief around those things that I had spent decades trying to banish from my life – those things that I hated and felt a victim to, I now felt profound gratitude.
At the end of the final day of the workshop, I was able to spend time with two magnificent horses (the animal I was most allergic to). I had my arms around them and stood in their presence for over 30 minutes without a single symptom.
But the strange thing was, I actually knew before I spent time with the horses that the allergies were gone – everything felt different – and more importantly, everything felt possible.
Using these tools, I feel blessed to work with amazing people around the world to create change in their lives. The wonderful thing is that I don’t have to be in the same room as them – or even in the same country. All that is needed is an intention to transform what they are struggling with, and of course, their permission.
One of my clients came to me after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She was in her 30s and had had to give up work due to her symptoms. She was unable to walk upstairs and was in a lot of pain. After three sessions she went from not being able to walk upstairs, to running up them – and being able to sleep through the night with no pain and no symptoms.
Using the power of the subconscious mind, the root of the issue can be found and released, which can really feel magical.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
My philosophy has always been to do the best I can for my clients, no matter how long it takes. A normal Body Code session takes around 60 minutes, but if the client requires more time, then that’s what they get.
At the end of each session, I always ask their subconscious mind if there is anything else we need to work on, and I never stop until everything that can be done in that session has been identified and completed.
If you are always focused on chasing the money, then that’s what you will always be doing – chasing something that is out of reach. But if you transform the way you look at things and become more focused on making a difference in someone’s life, then the revenue will follow as a by-product of what you do – just by being the best you can be and caring deeply about making a difference.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The biggest lesson I have learned is to “listen” to that inner voice.
I spent years working in a corporate environment, which I hated. Nothing about what I did fed my soul, and as such staying in a job I hated ended up adversely affecting my mental as well as physical health.
Looking back, I was given many signs that I should leave and follow my passion, but out of fear I stayed where I was, and jumping into the unknown was one of the best things I ever did.
On one level it is scary – especially when you don’t know what you are jumping into, But as I proved to myself, if what you want to do is for the highest good, then the Universe will always have your back, and you will be taken care of.
